If you are trying to set up your home office from scratch, chances are, you are like most people in that situation, trying to keep things simple and cut costs where possible, but never at the expense of efficiency. Here are a few ideas from one of household expert we have all come to know and trust, Heloise.

1.       Utilize some of your old serving trays, maybe ones you never use, for your new desk trays. 
          Some can add a fun, snazzy, or comfy cozy flair to your desk.
 
2.       Create a standard or generic fax cover sheet to use for all your fax  transmissions. Only print one
          copy and slide it into a clear plastic sleeve or sheet protector. Using a fine point dry erasable
          marker, you can write your sending information on the plastic cover. Once you know your fax has
          been safely sent, just wipe off, and it will be ready for your next fax.
 
3.       Depending on what you are working on from home, it is always helpful to save any plastic bags
          and bubble wrap you receive in packages. You never know when they may come in handy for
          mailings you may need to do.
