Happy Birthday to The Service Guide!  8 Years Old!

Happy Birthday to us!
 Today our company celebrates our
8th birthday! Thanks to all of our customers and vendors for your support and business over the past 8 years!  We appreciate and value you more than words can describe! Looking forward to many more years with you!

  It´s amazing to realize the events and changes that have
  transpired between January 4, 2004 when we launched the
  original version of our website and today, eight years later. 
  Between then and now, we have had the privelege of meeting,
  working, and connecting with hundreds of thousands of
  businesses and consumers.  The commonality amongst all of
  these contacts is people! 
 
  Working in a service industry is the perfect reminder of how 
  literally each move you make can affect someone else in a
  small or large way.  Every person that engages with our
  services really desires the same things.  They just want to be 
  treated right.  They want to feel safe with who they are giving
their money to and that the services they are receiving are being performed with competency, honesty, and with them in mind. 

In my business, much of what I provide can depend on the actions of other people that work with me, as well as other companies we refer to our members.  There is a trust factor I have in a great many people to make sure my services are received the way they are meant to.  It can be scary to depend on that many other people, especially when their actions reflect back on me.   It´s something I never take for granted and I think about daily! 

As the owner of The Service Guide, I am pleased every day that even through the most tumultuous economy, our business is still here and we are still serving thousands of new and repeat customers.  I attribute a great deal of our longevity to the fact that so many of the businesses we represent also still believe in good, old fashioned, customer service.  No mattter what era in time, or locale we live in, I believe there is timeless proof that when people are treated well, they will be your lifelong customers. 

Thanks so much to all of our customers for staying true to your expectations and to our businesses and vendors for delivering on your promises as you said you would.  It makes everyone´s lives a whole lot easier!
