What is the criteria to qualify for the scholarships?
Students in Minnesota high schools will receive information regarding the criteria and the process required to qualify for the CASHEW Scholarship opportunities. As an underlying objective, The Service Guide would like to encourage and reward particular traits, attitudes, and activities that demonstrate integrity, honesty, hard work ethic, creative problem-solving, someone who is service-oriented and with an entrepreneurial spirit. Whether a future business owner or employee of a business, these characteristics are needed to provide healthy and strong contributions towards the growth of a business. Working diligently with these traits should, also, hopefully, help strengthen their own value as an employee as well as their job retention in a competitive workforce.
