Giving visitors to your content reasons to engage > strategically motivating them to take action > will pivot those connections into conversions.
Applying strategic logic to how you guide your customers' journeys with you will be the key to theirs
and your success!

When you go into a grocery store, the retailer has planned out their aisles and the path or course they want you to take around their store with very strategic logic. They plan their end cap displays to catch your eye and get your attention, also strategically.
The overall goal of these strategies is to get you to pick up their products and buy them. They know they only have you passing by for several seconds, so they have to make their points, express their messaging, and win your purchase before you're gone.
Many websites are also created using similar logic, directing traffic, literally, guiding visitors as they scroll around the sites. Your published content or landing pages should act the same way.
When you publish as a Resident Expert, we help you achieve this and more. You receive full-service assists with your content, meaning we are with you from start to launch through lead generation.
This "assist" includes identifying trending topics in your areas of expertise, help with content creation, SEO optimizing, PLUS the addition of specific and deliberate CTA's within your content.

By applying Smart Call-To-Action strategies, both you and your visitors end up winning.
By also insisting you guide your decisions by watching reliable, meaningful data, you are similarly insisting your strategies are consistently optimized and sharpened.
This is why, as a Resident Expert, your content is not a one and done posting with the hopes it works out well for you. Your content, including every scroll, click, mouse hover and more is monitored.
For example, we watch analytics, plus we review heat maps of your content page(s) to see exactly where visitors are spending their time.
We can even see when a visitor starts to complete a contact form for you, but stops before they finish.
This helps us identify areas we can modify so your content page(s) deliver the strongest possible results for you. We do this because the end result is what we are after... to both the visitors to your content, as well as to YOU.
When your content guides visitors through a positive experience with genuine value, you have impacted their individual customer journey with satisfaction and success. That being an overall goal will become an impetus to many more quality leads than you may presently be used to.

You're almost done!

Implementing these SMART Strategies will ensure you are NOT these guys... walking away from money on the table!
Leaving money on the table, literally, does feel like a gut punch. Looking back and wishing you had made different decisions definitely hurts. Sadly, for these two guys, it's a lesson learned. Had they known more about SMART TRUST MATTERS MARKETING strategies earlier on, the money on the table would have been theirs! Good news is that it is never too late to do things better!
Acknowledging the power of marketing to a voluntary audience versus an involuntary one is the beginning of game changing quality lead generation. Voluntary audiences are actively searching for information, answers, solutions, help with decisions they are ALREADY in the process of making about services YOU offer. This translates to readier, more motivated, excited, interested prospects... the kind that converts!
Involuntary audiences receive PPC impressions, Facebook ads, mobile phone ads, direct mail ads, see banner ads at sports games. While the more specific purpose of these ads is exposure and awareness, which is definitely a valid purpose, it is important to acknowledge that it is in many ways equivalent to throwing hundreds of thousands of impressions against a wall and praying that a few of them stick. And at what cost per impression to the vast majority who are not engaged and don't intend to be? Creating exposure and awareness do serve a purpose, but are just not best suited to accomplish the goal of highly qualified, motivated leads. It takes too much to get too little.
Maybe another affirmation that can help reassure you are doing the right thing is to remind you that by marketing to a voluntary audience, you are still creating awareness and gaining exposure, but with a shift pointing you in the direction of actively interested and already motivated customers, ones already engaged.
Voluntary audience versus involuntary audience is another way of saying quality over quantity. If your mission is predictable, qualified, quality leads that will convert faster into customers, then focusing on voluntary (quality!) versus involuntary (quantity) should become YOUR game plan.
